J & P Bike Shop has over thirty different bmx and freestyle bikes on the floor and over sixty adult bikes to choose from. We offer layaway, too, to make your purchase easier. In addition, all kinds of parts and accessories are available that not only meet your needs for inexpensive repairs, but also for more in-depth additions.
Service after the Sale
After you take that shiny new bike home and ride it a while, things start settling and stretching. That's when our service policy kicks in. Just about every shop in town will give you a 60 day check up, but how many will do it as long as you own the bike? Just one - us. We will continue to keep your gears, brakes and bearings adjusted for you as long as you own the bike - at no charge. We do this for one reason: to make sure you enjoy your bike and get your money's worth. It also allows us to look over everything and make sure you don't have any "surprises" while you're out riding.
We believe in a long relationship with our customers, not a quick sale. Our mechanics are some of the best in the business, and aren't paid on commission, so there aren't any "extra parts" when you need repairs. Our new location provides space for a much larger and nicer work area for the assembly and repair of the bikes.
Repairs
We repair all makes and models of bicycles, regardless of place of purchase. We provide routine tune-ups as well as complete overhauls.
Custom Built Bikes and Boards
We can also build your dream bike for you, no matter what it is. You can pick the frame and every part on it, down to what color axle nuts you want. Since our staff is active in just about every style of riding, we can make sound recommendations from experience of what will work and what won't. We custom build wheels and skateboards, too, and provide free estimates.
